Credits & licences
A transparent source register organized by country, virtual route and original provider. Separate map manifests support a worldwide library without losing any attribution.
Worldwide source system
Each route has its own provider, licence, photograph and original-source record. Regional bundles combine those records without concealing individual photographers, Creative Commons obligations or applicable geographic-data rights.
The first available route uses Swiss geographic sources and some international height-data contributors. Future international routes will be added only after their exact licences are verified. Interface languages are IT, EN, DE, FR and ES; legal names and exact credits remain unchanged.

OpenStreetMap derivative geodata
Geographic ways and footprints incorporated into the 3D experience are © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under ODbL 1.0. Before the public store release, Aurora will publish an adequately complete, publicly accessible source data extract and any other legally required derivative-database materials, outside any map paywall.
Release status: a machine-readable export is prepared privately; the permanent public download location is not yet released. This page does not imply it is already public. OpenStreetMap copyright and licence.
Furka Pass — Gletsch, Belvédère, Furkapass, Realp
Source and licences register — not yet released for sale or public download. This is the next verified geographic route for 1N23456. The route and elevation data are original-source derived; the road shoulders, Hotel Belvédère façade, roof, windows and visual effects are artistic reconstructions, not an architectural survey or live road-condition service. The final signed map package, redistribution rights, device tests and public database extract must be accepted before publication.
Road H19 and Hotel Belvédère footprint · OpenStreetMap · ODbL 1.0
Provider and credit: © OpenStreetMap contributors. Original H19 Gletsch–Furkapass–Realp road, 1,671 route vertices from 51 OSM way identifiers; Hotel Belvédère is modelled from OSM way 61557805 and its 13-node original footprint. Curves and coordinates are geographical sources; individual façade/roof details are artistically interpreted. The source-derived OSM dataset and legally required derivative-database materials must be available without a map purchase when public distribution begins.
8 m alpine terrain and 2 m aerial colours · swisstopo OGD
Provider: Federal Office of Topography swisstopo. Required short credit: © swisstopo. Original near-terrain model: swissALTI3D, processed from the official altitude datasets into 226 local grid cells. Surface colours: SWISSIMAGE original orthoimagery, downsampled into 226 offline tiles. Bounded cut-and-fill corrections adjacent to the road are visual reconstruction only; measured elevation source samples remain separately identifiable. This does not include Google satellite imagery or Street View imagery.
Authentic distant Alpine relief · swissALTIRegio · special international attribution
Source: swisstopo swissALTIRegio, official regional digital altitude data, processed from the LV95/LN02 source into an approximately 20,460-point presentation grid. The product requires its complete cross-border multi-source acknowledgement, which is published in the swissALTIRegio · full international attribution section of this page, not merely “© swisstopo”. The exact source edition and final required wording will be checked against the downloaded official dataset before public release.

Four original route photographs
The following photographs are actual photographs of places, not screenshots of the simulation. The app uses reduced-resolution copies (maximum 750 × 520 px, JPEG recompressed at quality 82); the originals on Wikimedia Commons remain unchanged. Each photo has its own credit, original URL and licence, including any ShareAlike obligations. The source manifest records image hashes and modifications.
Gletsch · Daniel Schwen · CC BY-SA 4.0
Photographer: Daniel Schwen. Original work; licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Modified app copy: resized and recompressed as JPEG; no other synthetic alteration. Any distribution or adaptation of this photograph remains subject to its ShareAlike conditions.
Hotel Belvédère · Edtrnchf · CC BY 4.0
Photographer: Edtrnchf. Original work; licensed CC BY 4.0. Modified app copy: resized and recompressed as JPEG; no other synthetic alteration.
Furkapass summit · Nikater · public domain
Creator: Nikater. The creator placed this original image in the public domain. Original source credit is retained for transparency; the app copy is resized and JPEG recompressed.
Realp / Furkastrasse · Giorgio Galeotti · CC BY-SA 4.0
Photographer: Giorgio Galeotti. Original work; licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Modified app copy: resized and recompressed as JPEG; no other synthetic alteration. Any distribution or adaptation of this photograph remains subject to its ShareAlike conditions.
Release and derivative-data status (21 October 2026): the technical source package and individual photo credits have been checked, but public release approval is pending. The public ODbL source/alterations download URL is not yet active, and the official swissALTIRegio source edition still requires final verification. No paid IAP or external map checkout is offered on this page.
Future routes and regional collections
Every new pass, regional bundle and country pack will have a dedicated versioned source manifest: geography, source edition, imagery, attribution, individual photo rights, changes, and public derivative-data resources where required. A bundled pass does not replace its individual photographer or geodata credits. The 1N23456 app shows concise source acknowledgements and exposes the notices required offline; this Aurora page is the full, continuously maintained public register. Payments for future route downloads will take place through Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing inside the app, not on this website.
Software and third-party components
The final Godot engine, runtime components and platform-specific notices will be audited against the signed store binaries and added here before launch. The app’s original code, illustration and editorial writing have rights distinct from the open geodata and CC materials embedded inside it.
Last reviewed: 21 October 2026. The register covers the approved-source Tremola route and the Furka development preview. Per-route metadata, photographic licences and swisstopo cross-border acknowledgements are recorded; the public ODbL source download, swissALTIRegio edition, final artwork permissions and signed-store binary notices remain pre-release verification gates.
